They are products produced in oil refineries, from the deparaffination of mineral oils. Paraffins have many applications and are available in different formats: solid paraffin (slabs, pellets, powder) and liquid paraffin.
They are characterized by an oil content of less than 0,5%, a white color and odorless. The process of hydrogenation to saturation allows to reach the food grade. Our paraffins are available in different ranges of melting point:
They are characterized by an oil content between 0,5% and 5%. They have a characteristic smell and the color is not totally white.
They are characterized by being refined and hydrogenated with food grade. It has different types of polymers to increase its impermeability, resistance and brightness. They are mainly used in the paper industry to make waxed food paper and also in the corrugated board industry.
